Representation of Issues in the media

Jermaine Goupall, a 15 year old boy killed less then 100 yards from his house by a samurai sword. Despite Jermaine being a close family friend of mine he is one of many examples of young stabings that do not receive the publicity it deserves. He was ambushed by three men on his own road around 11pm all carrying knives, one armed with a machete, which is where he was stabbed to death on this spot.

This story was on the news but compared to a story such as Donald Trumps "Trumpadamus: how the president's tweets have predicted his own future".

This story seems to be getting more of public eye then the story of Jermaine. This is just one many examples on how the media add more of an emphasis onto particular stories rather then others.
